Who will take charge as Rajasthan’s next Chief Secretary?

In the final round, if Delhi sources are to be believed, the senior-most IAS officer in the cadre, Secretary of the Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances and the Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare in GoI, V. Srinivas, has emerged as number one, followed by Rajat Mishra. Srinivas, who is a 1989 batch IAS officer, is being sent with instructions to deal with Rajasthan affairs with the wishes of the Center.
