Cadre of IAS officer Kashish Bakshi shifted to Bihar

The cadre of IAS officer Kashish Bakshi has been transferred from Odisha to Bihar on the grounds of her marriage to IAS officer Virupaksh Vikram Singh. She belongs to the 2024 batch of the Indian Administrative Service.

Such inter-cadre transfers on marriage grounds are processed under established DOPT guidelines, subject to the consent of the concerned state governments. The change will allow the couple to serve in the same state cadre.
