Ten Indian States participate in record-breaking delegation at Davos WEF 2026
Around half a dozen Union Ministers and representatives from 10 Indian states participated in the 56th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting in Davos. This marked the first time such a large number of Indian states jointly showcased their development achievements on a global platform. Participating states included Maharashtra, Telangana, Gujarat, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, and Kerala. Assam and Jharkhand made their debut appearances at the summit. Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Gujarat, and Karnataka were represented by senior ministers instead of attending personally.
