Punjab Government Announces New Strategic Postings for Key IAS Officers

The Punjab government has issued a series of new assignments for several prominent Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers. Sakshi Sawhney has been appointed Chief Administrator of the Punjab Urban Planning & Development Authority, while also serving as Director of Town & Country Planning. Sandeep Kumar has been assigned to the Greater Mohali Development Authority as Chief Administrator. Additionally, Abhijit Kaplish will take over as Director of Mines & Geology and Chief Executive of the Punjab Energy Development Agency. Manisha Rana will serve as MD of PRTC, Patiala, and Latif Ahmed has been assigned dual roles as Additional Secretary of Agriculture and Farmers' Welfare and CEO of the Punjab Waqf Board.
