Two Sr AAOs promoted to JTS of Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICAS)

Two Senior Accounts Officers—Ms. Ponmala Selvin and V. S. Negi—have been promoted to Junior Time Scale (JTS) as Assistant Controllers of Accounts in ICAS. After promotion, Ms Selvin has been posted to the Ministry of Earth Sciences, New Delhi, while Negi has been posted to the Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India (CGA), Delhi. This move reflects ongoing internal cadre reshuffling within ICAS, aiming to strengthen administrative oversight at key ministries and auditing bodies. The promotions may also help ICAS deepen its accounting and financial control capabilities across central ministries—a key for public-fund governance.
