Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal takes charge as Arunachal Pradesh DGP

Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal, currently DGP, Ladakh, has been appointed as DGP, Arunachal Pradesh. He is a 1995 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre.

Jamwal previously managed high-altitude law enforcement in Ladakh. Officials expect him to enhance border security coordination with CAPFs. He is credited with modernizing Ladakh police operations during his tenure. Arunachal Pradesh administration expects improved intelligence gathering under his leadership.
