DGP Arunachal Pradesh Anand Mohan transferred to Delhi

Anand Mohan, currently DGP, Arunachal Pradesh, has been shifted to Delhi. He is a 1994 batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre.

MHA sources note the transfer is part of routine cadre adjustments.  Anand Mohan has a strong track record in counter-insurgency operations. Delhi police officials anticipate leveraging his experience in urban policing. His posting may include advisory roles for CAPF coordination in the capital.
