Mukesh Singh Assumes Charge as DGP, Ladakh Post Central Deputation

Mukesh Singh has been appointed as DGP, Ladakh, on return from Central Deputation. He is a 1996 batch IPS officer of the AGMUT cadre.

Singh has experience in high-altitude security and border management. He is expected to strengthen the Ladakh police’s operational readiness. CAPF coordination under his leadership will focus on cross-border threats. Singh’s previous central deputation included policy planning in the MHA.
