Rajiv Saxena Moves from ED Enforcement to Legal Operations

Rajiv Saxena, currently Joint Director of Enforcement (JDE) with the Enforcement Directorate (ED), has been transferred from his role as JDE (ADJ-3) at Headquarters to serve as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the Legal Section. This strategic shift aims to leverage his enforcement expertise within ED's legal framework for complex case management.

The ED Legal Section successfully prosecuted 214 PMLA cases in the Supreme Court last year. OSD roles coordinate multi-agency operations involving CBI and state police regularly. Saxena's previous ADJ-3 team recovered ₹1,200 crore in attached properties in 2025. The legal division expanded with an AI case management system.
