Telangana Government Announces Major Reassignments for Seven Senior IPS Officers
Telangana has reassigned seven senior IPS officers, including Shikha Goel as Principal Secretary of Home and Dr. Tarun Joshi as Commissioner of Future City.
Seven senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers have received new postings within Telangana. Shikha Goel has been appointed Principal Secretary of the Home Department, while retaining her roles as Director of the Cyber Security Bureau and the Forensic Science Laboratory. Devendra Singh Chauhan has been named DG of Vigilance & Enforcement, and Shahnawaz Qasim will serve as IGP of Multi-Zone II in Hyderabad. Other key appointments include Dr. Tarun Joshi as Commissioner of Police for Future City, Avinash Mohanty as DG of the Drugs Control Administration, B Sumathi as Malkajgiri's Commissioner of Police, and Kartikeya as IGP of Intelligence.
