Swapna Bose Transferred Within ED Headquarters to New Role

Swapna Bose, serving as Joint Director of Enforcement (JDE) in the Enforcement Directorate (ED), has been reassigned from her position in the Legal Section at Headquarters to the role of JDE (ADJ-3) within the Headquarters Office. This internal transfer reflects ongoing administrative reshuffling within ED to optimize operational efficiency across its legal and enforcement divisions.

ED's Srinagar Zonal Office recently investigated major money laundering cases linked to terror financing. The directorate strengthened its cybercrime investigation wing with 25 new specialized officers last quarter. The Legal Section handled 187 high-profile cases in 2025, achieving an 82% conviction rate. The ADJ-3 division focuses on attachment proceedings valued at over ₹5,000 crore currently.
