JERC post for Goa & UT to be available from 2026

Post of Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (JERC) for Goa and Union Territories will be available from June 19, 2026. Applications for the same must reach the Ministry of Power by December 23, 2025. The JERC for Goa & UTs regulates critical electricity functions like tariffs, transmission, and wheeling. Its multi-year tariff regulations for 2025–30 aim to boost long-term power planning. With the leadership vacancy nearing, this creates a strategic opportunity to shape future energy policy in those regions.
