IIST–SAC Astronomy Project

The Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) and the Space Applications Centre (SAC) have signed an agreement to advance research in astronomy and astrophysics. The project will be led by Prof. Sarita Vig (IIST) as Principal Investigator, with Vipin Kumar (SAC) as the SAC PI. The collaboration will focus on solving complex space application challenges, strengthening India’s scientific and strategic research capabilities.
