Ravi Jain granted NFU in Higher Administrative Grade

Ravi Jain has been granted Non-Functional Upgradation (NFU) in the Higher Administrative Grade after his retirement. He is a retired IRS-IT officer. The OM dated 24 April 2009 stipulates that all “prescribed eligibility criteria and promotional norms, including ‘benchmark’” must be met at the time of screening for NFU. The NFU benefit is purely non-functional and does not confer any right to deputation or promotion based on that upgradation.
