Rajasthan Launches 'Raj-UNNATI' to Fast-Track Projects
Rajasthan has introduced the Raj-UNNATI initiative, a tech-driven platform to review and fast-track key government projects and schemes, inspired by the PM's PRAGATI meetings.
Inspired by the Prime Minister's PRAGATI meetings, the Rajasthan government has launched "Raj-UNNATI" to accelerate development and eliminate delays in achieving "Viksit Bharat". This initiative, commended by Cabinet Secretary T. V. Somanathan, focuses on resolving issues in public grievances and government schemes. Reviewed by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Chief Secretary V. Srinivas, the platform utilizes video conferencing to coordinate with senior officers, District Collectors, and Divisional Commissioners. Raj-UNNATI currently prioritizes seven major projects across five departments worth ₹1,943 crore, as well as schemes like PM SHRI and PM Surya Ghar. The initiative relies on a strong technical backbone, the Chief Minister Information System (CMIS), to track digitally recorded directions and timelines.
