Punjab Promotes Four IPS Officers to IGP Rank

Four IPS officers of the 2008 batch have been promoted to the IGP rank in Punjab. Promoted officers are Jagadale Nilambari Vijay, Rajpal Singh, Rahul S (pro-forma promotion) and Biram Pal Singh Bhatty (pro-forma promotion).

These officers will lead key police divisions and maintain law and order. Promotion reflects performance, seniority, and expertise in policing. IGPs coordinate district operations, intelligence, and public safety initiatives. Punjab Police expects strengthened administrative leadership for security management.
