OP Yadav gets extension as GM (Finance & Accounts), RLDA

Om Prakash Yadav, an Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS) officer, has been granted a significant extension of his deputation with the Rail Land Development Authority (RLDA). The extension covers the fourth and fifth years of his tenure, allowing him to continue as GM (Finance & Accounts) [GM (F&A)], Delhi, until November 27, 2027. This long-term retention highlights the necessity of his financial expertise from the IRAS cadre to manage the monetization and complex financial accounting of railway land assets handled by the RLDA. The extension was sanctioned with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways, underscoring the critical nature of the financial role he holds in a body crucial for generating non-tariff revenue.
