New complex housing PMO to be called Seva Teerth

The new Prime Minister’s Office complex has been officially named Seva Teerth, a title personally chosen by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to signify governance as an act of sacred national service. The name merges the Sanskrit words Seva (service) and Teerth (a sacred place), symbolizing the PMO as a space dedicated to duty, humility, and public welfare. Designed as more than an administrative hub, Seva Teerth reflects a shift toward service-oriented leadership where responsibility outweighs authority. The concept aligns with the prime minister’s philosophy of “Seva hi Param Dharma,” marking a blend of Indian civilizational ethos with modern governance.
