Large number of independent director positions remain vacant across central PSUs

A significant number of Independent Director positions continue to remain vacant across several Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). Despite repeated reminders and recommendations from monitoring agencies, the Government of India has not yet completed the appointment process.
