Kavita Jalan assigned additional charge, Director, NEPA

Ms. Kavita Jalan, a 2003-batch IPS officer of the Odisha cadre, currently serves as Inspector General (NE Sector) of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).  She has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Director at North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA). Her appointment comes at a time when NEPA remains central to training police officers from Northeastern states, offering basic and in-service courses for sub-inspectors, DSPs, and other officers. Apart from her policing duties, Kavita Jalan’s leadership role at NEPA signals continuity in strengthening capacity building for the region.
