IRS officer Vibhore R Goyal posted to FIU-IND

IRS (C&IT) officer Vibhore R Goyal has been appointed Deputy Director in the Financial Intelligence Unit–India (FIU-IND), Department of Revenue, on deputation. His tenure in the new assignment will be for four years.

The posting places him at the heart of India’s financial intelligence architecture, which deals with the analysis of suspicious transaction reports and related enforcement support. His experience in indirect taxes and investigations is expected to aid the FIU’s analytical capabilities.
