IREL Chairman/Managing Director post has been vacant for a year. Indian Rare Earths Limited, a Central Public Sector Undertaking and producer of rare earth elements, has been operating without a full-time Chairperson and Managing Director since December last year. One of India’s strategic and important organisations being without a permanent head for so long is raising serious questions.
