Haryana Government approves Arshinder Singh Chawla & Alok Mittal promotion to DGP

Arshinder Singh Chawla has been promoted to the grade of Director General of Police (DGP) in Haryana. He is a 1993 batch IPS officer of the Haryana cadre. The Haryana government has promoted Arshinder Singh Chawla and Alok Mittal, both 1993‑batch IPS officers, to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP). Chawla was serving as the Director of the Haryana Police Academy in Madhuban, Karnal, before his promotion. His elevation places him on the Level-16 pay matrix.
