Gujarat Police — New ASP Postings
The Gujarat government has posted nine officers from the 2022–2023 batch of Indian Police Service (IPS) as Additional Superintendents of Police (ASP). From the 2022 batch: Ankita Mishra (Aslali, Ahmedabad Rural), Ghanshyam Gautam (Bhavnagar Rural), and Akshay Mahendra Engineer (Mandvi, Surat Rural) got ASP postings. From the 2023 batch: Harsh Sharma (Bodeli, Chhota Udepur), Gautam Vivekanandan (Mundra, Kutch), Vedika Bihani (Surendranagar Division), Naveen Chakravarti Repudi (Jasdan, Rajkot Rural), Vikas Yadav (Santrampur, Mahisagar) and Dr Sandip T (Dharampur, Valsad) have been assigned ASP roles. The move is part of a broader reshuffle and upgrading exercise within Gujarat Police, announced alongside promotions of six senior IPS officers to DGP/IG ranks.
