EC appoints four IAS Special Roll Observers to Bengal CEO's office

The Election Commission of India has deployed four senior IAS officers to the Chief Electoral Officer's office in West Bengal as Special Roll Observers. These officers will oversee the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls to ensure accuracy and transparency. The appointees include Sailesh, currently Deputy Secretary at the National Health Authority; Sandeep Rewaji Rathod, Director in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports; Vikash Singh, Director for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment; and Ratan Biswas, Director of Census Operations in Tripura.
