C Kalaichelvan rises to DIG in CBI

C Kalaichelvan has been promoted from SP to DIG in Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He is a 2012 batch IPS officer of Tamil Nadu cadre.

Kalaichelvan has handled anti-money laundering and fraud investigations in Tamil Nadu. CBI sources confirm his oversight on multi-state investigation teams. His promotion reflects CBI’s focus on strengthening regional investigative capacity. He will contribute to policy formulation in criminal intelligence analysis.
