The outgoing Chief Secretary of Rajasthan, Sudhansh Pant, had given enough hints of vacating the post in meetings held in the last few days. In a Committee of Secretaries meeting, he told Secretaries to get ready for a big shakeup in bureaucracy. Authorities describe Pant’s move as unprecedented in Rajasthan’s bureaucratic history. Pant was appointed Chief Secretary on January 1, 2024.
