Vikas Gupta’s services placed at disposal of GoI

The services of Vikas Gupta, Commissioner and Secretary, Urban Local Bodies Department, Haryana, and Member Secretary, Kurukshetra Development Board, have been placed at the disposal of the Government of India. He has been appointed Commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS).

Gupta, a 2001 batch Haryana cadre IAS officer, moves into a key role in the central education system, overseeing one of the country’s largest school networks. His administrative experience in urban and developmental roles is expected to help strengthen KVS governance and expansion.
