UNPD seeks IPS officer for community policing role in Italy

The Ministry of Home Affairs has invited applications from DSP/SP-rank IPS officers for the post of Community Policing (Reform) Officer (P-3) at Brindisi, Italy, under the United Nations Police Department (UNPD) Standing Police Capacity (SPC). Applications must be submitted by February 10, 2026.

UN deputations enhance India’s global policing footprint. IPS officers contribute to international peace and reform initiatives. Such roles offer exposure to global best practices in policing. India remains a significant contributor to UN policing missions.
