Seven IAS officers reshuffled in Punjab

The Punjab government has carried out a reshuffle of seven IAS officers. Tejveer Singh has been appointed Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training. Manvesh Singh Sidhu will serve as Administrative Secretary, Labour, with additional charges of Revenue & Rehabilitation and Commissioner, Roopnagar Division, relieving Ms Gurpreet Kaur Sapra of the additional responsibility. Arun Sekhri, Commissioner, Ferozepur Division, has been relieved of the additional charge of Jalandhar Division and appointed Commissioner, Faridkot Division. Manjit Singh Brar has taken charge as Administrative Secretary, Local Government. Ramvir, Secretary, Punjab State Agricultural Marketing Board, and Administrative Secretary, Information & Public Relations, will also hold charge of Commissioner, Jalandhar Division. Rubinderjit Singh Brar, Additional CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion, has been given additional charge as Additional Secretary, NRI Affairs. Ms Sonam, currently posted in the Department of Excise and Taxation, will also serve as Joint Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Patiala.
