Major administrative reshuffle in Bihar
The Bihar government has carried out a major administrative reshuffle, assigning new responsibilities to several IAS officers across key departments. Mayank Warwade has been posted as Secretary of the Planning and Development Department while continuing to hold the additional charge of Enquiry Commissioner. Shirsat Kapil Ashok has been given additional charge as Managing Director, Bihar State Fruit and Vegetable Development Corporation.
Dharmendra Kumar has been appointed Director, Social Security, while Upendra Prasad becomes Additional Secretary, Labor Resources and Migrant Labor Welfare Department. Naveen Kumar Singh has been posted as Director, Panchayati Raj, and Dr. Vidya Nand Singh as Director, Handloom (Industries Department). Sunil Kumar-1 has been named Director, Planning and Training, while Aditya Prakash takes charge as Additional Secretary, Panchayati Raj Department.
Amit Kumar Pandey has been appointed Executive Director, State Health Society, with additional charge as Additional Secretary, Health Department. Shyam Bihari Meena becomes Additional Secretary, Bihar State Planning Board, and Sunil Kumar has been posted as Managing Director, Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation. Suharsh Bhagat has been appointed Director, Land Records and Survey; Aman Sameer as Director, MSME; and Manish Kumar Meena as Director, Mines.
Tushar Singla takes charge as Director, Fisheries; Vijay Kumar as Additional Secretary, Education Department; and Manoj Kumar Rajak as Additional Secretary, Urban Development and Housing Department. Dhananjay Kumar has been posted as Additional Secretary, Health Department, while Arif Ahsan has been appointed State Transport Commissioner.
Anil Kumar has been named Director, Information and Public Relations, with additional charge as Managing Director, Bihar State Samvad Samiti. Kumar Anurag becomes Managing Director, Bihar State Building Construction Corporation Limited, with additional charge as Joint Secretary, Building Construction Department. Sumit Kumar has been appointed Project Director, Bihar AIDS Control Society, with additional charge of Mission Director, Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali.
Saurabh Suman Yadav takes charge as Director, Agriculture; Naveen Kumar as Project Director, Bihar Education Project Council; Yatendra Kumar Pal as Managing Director, Bihar State Text Book Publishing Corporation Limited; and Vikram Virkar as Director, Primary Education. Priyanka Rani has been appointed Director, SC/ST Welfare.
At the district level, Akash Chaudhary has been posted as Deputy Development Commissioner-cum-CEO, Begusarai; Neelima Sahu as DDC-cum-CEO, Nawada, and Niharika Chhavi as DDC-cum-CEO, Buxar. Nishant Sihara has been posted as SDO, Motihari Sadar; Pradhuman Singh Yadav as SDO, Katihar; Anjali Sharma as SDO, Areraj; Shipra Vijay Kumar Chaudhary as SDO, Ara Sadar; and Dr. Neha Kumari as SDO, Sasaram, while Krishna Chandra Gupta has been posted as SDO, Kahalgaon.
