Anurag Kumar joins IB HQ

Anurag Kumar has been promoted and joined the IB Headquarters as Special Director. He is a 1993-batch IPS officer. Special Directors play a key role in supervising national intelligence programs. His elevation reflects the government’s push to strengthen internal security systems. Officers at this level handle high-level assessments and coordination with central agencies. His leadership experience will support operational efficiency at the IB HQ.
