NLC India Ltd Awarded LoA for 110 MW Solar Power Project from NCRTC

NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Coal, Government of India, has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the National Capital Region Transport Corporation Limited (NCRTC) for the development of a 110 MW (AC) grid-connected Solar PV power project in Uttar Pradesh under the captive mode.

NCRTC, a joint venture of the Government of India and the state governments of Delhi, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh, is developing the project to meet the captive power requirements of its Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor. The LoA follows a competitive bidding process conducted by NCRTC. The project scope includes the design, engineering, installation, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of the solar power plant and is targeted for completion within 24 months from the signing of the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

This project supports NCRTC’s commitment to clean and sustainable energy for large-scale infrastructure development. For NLC India Limited, the award marks another milestone in strengthening its renewable energy portfolio and reinforces its strategic focus on expanding its solar footprint in Uttar Pradesh.
