Massive Overhaul of 36 IAS Officers in Delhi Administration

The Delhi government has executed a substantial administrative overhaul involving 36 IAS officers who have been assigned new roles. Key Portfolio Changes: Santosh D Vaidya (PS, Home) adds charges for Finance, Industries, and Chairman DSIIDC. Bipul Pathak takes extra charge of ACS (SC/ST/OBC), while Sandeep Kumar is relieved of Home and IT charges. New Appointments: Nikhil Kumar becomes Commissioner, Trade & Taxes; Pandurang K Pole is Secretary, GAD (with Labour and Cooperation); and Rupesh Kumar Thakur takes Secretary, H&FW. Yashpal Garg is appointed Secretary, Planning; Sanjeev Ahuja as Secretary, Education; and Rahul Singh as Secretary, NDMC. Additional Charges & Specialized Roles: Vijay Kumar Bidhuri adds Chairman, DPCC; Jitender Yadav adds Secretary, IT; Suneel Anchipaka becomes MD & CEO, DT&TDC; and Santosh Kumar Rai is Special Commissioner, Trade & Taxes. Several officers were appointed as Deputy Commissioners and Addl Commissioners across MCD and Delhi districts.
