Major Administrative Reshuffle Assigns New Roles to 19 IAS Officers in Delhi

In a significant administrative reshuffle in Delhi, 19 IAS officers have been assigned new roles and additional responsibilities across key departments. Shurbir Singh, Secretary (Finance) and Development Commissioner, has been given additional charge as Director, DAM, while K. Mahesh, MD, DKVIB, will also serve as Secretary, Art & Culture. The services of Sanjeev Kumar Mittal have been placed at the disposal of the Delhi Jal Board (DJB).

Further, D. Varma, Member, DUSIB, holding additional charge as ED, DFC, will now also take charge as Secretary (Planning) and ED, DSFDC. G. Sudhakar has been appointed Deputy Commissioner/DM, Old Delhi, while A. Nedunchezhiyan, Principal Director, Delhi Fire Service, has been entrusted with the additional charge of CEO, DDMA following the retirement of Krishan Kumar. Suneel Anchipaka, Special Commissioner, Trade & Taxes, will additionally handle the roles of Special Secretary, PWD, and MD & CEO, DT&TDC, relieving Ms Niharika Rai.

Among other postings, Ravi Dadhich has been appointed Deputy Commissioner/DM, North, Ms Ranjana Deswal as Deputy Commissioner/DM, Central, and Ms Vandana Rao as Deputy Commissioner/DM, West, with additional charge as CVO, DSIIDC. Mekala Chaitanya Prasad, Deputy Commissioner/DM, South West, will also hold additional charge as Director, Panchayat, following the retirement of Indu Shekhar Mishra. Kumar Abhishek has been posted as Deputy Commissioner/DM, Outer North, while Shailendra Singh Parihar will serve as Deputy Commissioner/DM, Central North, along with additional charges of Secretary, DCSK, and Registrar, DESU.

Additionally, Lakshay Singhal, Deputy Commissioner/DM, South, will also hold the roles of Secretary, PGC, and PD, DSACS. Ms Ayushi has been appointed SDM, Bijwasan; Ms Kanika as SDM, Narela; Ms Anuja Trivedi as SDM, Matiala; Jarad Pratik Anil as SDM, Bawana; and Piyush Kumar has been posted as SDM, Chhatarpur.
