Jitendra Kumar has been designated to the post of Director General of Forests & Special Secretary, MoEF&CC, New Delhi, in the Apex Scale in the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change under the Central Staffing Scheme of MoEF&CC. He is a 1987 batch IFoS officer of AGMUT cadre.
