Doctors of Visakha Steel General Hospital (VSGH) of RINL corner glory at the 43rd Annual Conference of Association of All India Steel Medical Officers (AISMOC-2023)

Doctors of Visakha Steel General Hospital (VSGH) of RINL cornered glory at the 43rd Annual Conference of Association of All India Steel Medical Officers AISMOC-2023 held at Bhilai from 9th to 12th February, 2023. A team of 12 doctors from RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant took part in the AISMOC-2023 in which over 400 doctors from 8 steel plant hospitals from both public & private sector across the country showcased the research done with newer techniques and recent modalities of treatment in their respective fields of work. Doctors from RINL-VSP presented seven papers at the nation conference in various categories and Dr.Dipiti Soy,DGM(Medical) won 2nd prize- Silver in MBBS Category, Dr.B.Sashidar, Dy.Ch.Specialist (OHSRC) won 2nd Prize-Silver in Occupational health services category, Dr.A.Santhi Priya, DGM(Medical) won 3rd Prize-Bronze in PG Poster category(MD/MS Category) and Dr.N.Sowjanya, AGM(Medical) won 3rd Prize-Bronze in UG poster category(MBBS Category) Dr.A.P. Naveen Kumar, GM (Med)-General Medicine moderated the panel session on Long Covid Syndrome – A discussion and Dr.P.Mohandas, Dy. Chief. Specialist (Med)-General Surgery elaborated about Newer Surgical Management & Newer Techniques- in the symposium on Varicose Veins Dr. KH Prakash, CGM (M&HS) & HoD (Head of the Department)- Medical, Visakha Steel General Hospital headed the delegation and took part in the deliberations of the conference.
