10 IAS officers get new portfolios in J&K

Ten IAS officers have been shifted and given new portfolios in J&K. Baseer-u-Haq Chaudhary has been posted as Managing Director, Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited, while Sachin Kumar Vaishy was shifted as Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur and Choudhary Mohammad Yasin will take over as Deputy Commissioner, Poonch. Similarly, Rakesh Minhas is transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Kathua; Basharat Qayoom as Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama; Minga Sherpa will be posted as Additional Secretary in the Lieutenant Governor's Secretariat and hold additional charge of MD, Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Development Corporation and Director, Information, J&K; Syeed Fakhrudin Hamid is shifted as Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag; Faz Lul Haseeb as Deputy Commissioner, Shopian; Abhishek Sharma as Deputy Commissioner, Samba and Akshay Labroo is now Deputy Commissioner, Budgam.
