Vijai Vardhan has been designated as the new Chief Secretary of Haryana. He will overlook general administration, personnel, training, parliamentary affairs, vigilance and administrative reforms departments. He is a 1985 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre. Vardhan replaces 1983-batch IAS officer Ms. Keshni Anand Arora who retired on September 30.
