Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Kerala, and Uttarakhand receive 1000 crore rupees in funds from the Centre

The Central Government has approved the release of Rs 1000 crore to landslides, and flood-affected areas of Kerala, Uttarakhand, Assam, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Meghalaya and Uttarakhand. Among these six flood-affected states, Manipur was given Rs 29.20 crore, Assam received Rs 375.60 crore, Meghalaya received Rs 30.40 crore, Rs 375.60 crore to Assam, Rs 455.60 crore to Uttarakhand and Rs 153.20 crore to Kerala as a share of the centre from SDRF (State Disaster Response Fund). These six states are affected due to landslides, heavy rainfall and floods during the south-west monsoon of 2025.
