V Channamallikarjuna, who is returning from deputation to Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL), has been appointed as Deputy Inspector General- cum-Chief Security Commissioner (DIG-cum-CSC) in North Western Railway (NWR). He is an Indian Railway Protection Force Service (IRPFS) officer.
