Three IPS officers receive compulsory retirement in UP

Three officers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) from Uttar Pradesh cadre have been handed over compulsory retirement. There name are: Amitabh Thakur, IG, (Rules & Manuals, Civil Defence), Rakesh Shankar, DIG, Establishment and Rajesh Krishna, Commandant, 10 Btn PAC at Barabanki. Shankar and Krishna were promotee IPS officers.
