Three IPS officers have been assigned new responsibilities in UP. Mutha Ashok Jain has been appointed as ADGP, UP Police Recruitment and Promotion Board, Lucknow, while Mohit Agarwal was posted as Commissioner of Police, Varanasi and Nilabja Chaudhary takes over as IGP, ATS, Lucknow.
