The Karnataka Government has shifted a few IPS officers here on Wednesday. SN Siddaramappa, 2005 batch, has been posted as IGP and Commissioner, Belagavi District in the upgraded post. The post of IGP and Commissioner, Belgaum City has been declared equivalent to the cadre post of IGP, CID.
