Six IAS officers elevated to STS in Gujarat

Four IAS officers of the 2006 batch in Gujarat have been elevated to Super Time Scale (STS). The officers name are: Jenu Devan, Alok Kumar Pandey, R B Barad and M D Modia. Besides, Dr Ajay Kumar and Ravi Kumar Arora, who are currently on Central deputation, have been given proforma promotion to STS. Three of the officers have been given new postings after promotion. Jenu Devan has been appointed as Superintendent of Stamps and Inspector General of Registration, Gandhinagar with additional charge of Commissioner, Labour & Employment, Gandhinagar, while Alok Kumar Pandey will be posted as MD, Tourism Corporation of Gujarat and the services of R B Barad are placed at the disposal of Forests & Environment Department for further posting.
