Seven officers of State Forest Service of J&K Cadre have been elevated to the Indian Forest Service (IFoS). B K Bhagat, V K Raina and Ashwani K Gupta have been promoted against SL of 1998, while M L Gupta, S K Kohil, Farooq Ahmed Gilani and Javed Iqbal Panjoo were promoted against SL of 1999 in compliance of the CAT, Chandigarh Bench order.
