Seven IPS officers of 2004 and 2006 batch have been elevated to the rank of IGP in Tamil Nadu. Among them are V Jeyashri of 2004 batch and B Shamoondeswari, S Lakshmi, S Rajeswati, S Rajendrian, Dr M S Muthusamy and N M Mylvahanan of 2004 batch.
