RINL and FSSAI jointly organise Eat Right Walkathon and Eat Right Millet Mela at RINL

Shri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL inaugurated the Eat Right Millet Mela by lighting the lamp in the presence of Dr. Arul Anand K A., Joint Director/ Designated Officer (Central Licensing) - Andhra Pradesh & Tamil Nadu, FSSAI, Dr. G. Vijayalakshmi, Principal, Southern International Hotel Management Academy, Smt. S. Sujatha Srinivas, CEO, Q1 International Foods, Shri. S.V. Ramana, MD & CEO, Visakha Dairy and Shri. G Sambasivarao, MD, Sravan Shipping Services Private Limited at Multipurpose hall of ukkunagaram club of RINL, today.
Eat Right Millet Mela was jointly organized by RINL in association with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), Visakhapatnam Branch office.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Atul Bhatt, CMD, RINL said that “Over the past few years, the healthy food revolution has given way to discover the value of traditional millets. Especially with the increasing health consciousness among people, there has been a rise in the demand of nutrient rich cereals like millets.”
“India is known as the second largest diabetes capital of the world, and this has led to the surge in the demand of millets. Millets are enriched with the goodness of nature, fibre, minerals like magnesium, phosphorous, iron, calcium, zinc and potassium. Millets are not only healthy but at the same time they have a unique taste”, Sri Atul Bhatt added.
Shri Atul Bhatt appreciated FSSAI for organizing the Eat Right –Millet Mela at RINL, Visakhapatnam Steel Plant premises.
Clad in dress studded with millets, Miss Girvani, 2nd standard, srishti world school, ukkunagaram won the appreciation of Sri Atul Bhatt and entire audience with her extempore speech about the importance of use of millets for a better health.
