K Uma Maheshwar Rao – who is currently on deputation to Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) as Joint General Manager – has been designated as Joint Advisor (Mitigation Project) in National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) under
the Ministry of Home Affairs till January 20, 2023. He is an Indian Railway Traffic Service (IRTS) officer.
