Rameshwar Singh Thakur, a 1994-batch IPS officer presently posted as IG CID (Vigilance), has been designated as the Chairman, Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission. Earlier, the state government had cancelled HPPSC member Rachna Gupta’s appointment to the post without any clarification.
